San Antonio is located in central Texas, about 90 miles south of Austin and about 200 miles west of Houston. If you are planning on flying into San Antonio and do not wish to rent a car, some additional transportation options have been arranged. Please see below for details.

Travelling to San Antonio

By air: The San Antonio International Airport (airport code SAT) services the area and is about 10 miles from the hotel. 

Ground Transportation 

If you do not wish to rent a car, or prefer not to use yours as much, some additional transportation is available. This includes transportation to and from the airport and also to and from the hotels to the wedding location. Kimberly Chaney at Destinations by Marriott will coordinate directly with you for your transportation.

When you call Kimberly to make your airport-to-hotel arrangements, she has asked that you have/give her the following information:
- Name
- No. of people arriving with you
- Arrival flight information - Airline, flight number, arrival date & arrival time & which hotel you will be staying (i.e. - Marriott Riverwalk or Marriott Residence Inn)
- Departure Flight information - Airline, flight number, departure date & departure time, and what time you think you want to be picked up
at the hotel. Again, please let K.T. know which hotel to pick you up from (Marriott Riverwalk or Marriott Residence Inn)
- Your contact information - home phone or mobile/cell phone numbers

- Additional Transportation to and from the wedding locations (Saturday, October 27)

Los Patios is about 25-45 minutes drive (depending on traffic) from the hotel, so we have scheduled for a shuttle service for all wedding guests, starting at 3 hrs before the wedding time to take you from the hotel to Los Patios. K.T. will let us know the shuttle service times (i.e. if it will run every 30 or 45 minutes) - depending on how many of you are planning to use the shuttle service. There will also be a shuttle service to take everyone back to the hotel.

To/From the hotel 

From San Antonio International Airport: 

to Marriott Riverwalk - Take 281 South to Commerce Exit. Turn right onto Commerce. Continue to Alamo St. and turn left, turn left again on Market. Hotel is on left. **Enter hotel on Market Street**

to Residence Inn -  Go south on Hwy 281/I-37 approx. 8 miles to downtown. Exit Houston St., turn right. Go 1 block to Bowie St., turn right, hotel is on left.

By car:  

to Marriott Riverwalk -

From Dallas or Austin (I-35 South) - Continue toward downtown San Antonio. At exit 158-B, take the ramp to I-37 / US-281. Exit at Commerce, and turn right on Commerce. Continue to Alamo St. and turn left. Turn left again on Market; hotel is on the left. **Enter hotel on Market Street**

From Houston (I-10 West)  - Heading toward downtown San Antonio, take exit 574 for I-37 North / US-281 North. Take exit 140-B for Durango Blvd toward Alamodome. Turn left at Durango. Turn right on Alamo St, and then turn right again at Market. 

To/From the ceremony 

From the Marriot Riverwalk - Head East on Market, toward S. Bowie St. Merge onto 281 North / I-37 North, continue on 281 North. Exit Airport toward the 410 Loop. Turn right and get onto 410 East. Take exit 25A, Starcrest Dr. At Starcrest, turn around so that would be facing West (along 410), but stay on the access road. Look for split in acccess road past Toyota dealership, take the low fork. The entrance to Los Patios is on the right.
